Our client is a leading international, specialist food and agri related manufacturer with production plants all over the world. This successful and very profitable company has 4 sites in the UK, employing a sizeable, dynamic workforce enabling them to provide excellent career and advancement opportunities.
The plant in the Buckie area now requires a further multi-skilled engineer (50:50 or 70 mechanical, 30: electrical) to join the engineering team. Reporting to the Production Manager you will be responsible for the upkeep of all machinery within the plant including preventative/planned maintenance programmes and all relevant documentation, plant inspection, fabrication, installation, highlighting safety issues and recommending improvements.
You will ideally be an experienced multi-skilled maintenance engineer from a production plant environment with experience of working with instrumentation, PLCs and inverters with a logical approach to electrical fault finding and repairs with the ability to read and understand electrical drawings and have fabrication skills and mechanical maintenance.
Working hours Mon - Fri - 8am to 4.30pm (days only) Call out, 1 in 3 weeks.
