We are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor (32.5 hrs per week, term time only plus 5 additional days) to join our support team at Holderness Academy. Holderness Academy is part of The Consortium Academy Trust. About the Role
The Cover Supervisor is responsible for providing lesson and registration cover to facilitate students’ learning during the absence of teachers. In the event of no cover being required, the Cover Supervisor will support individual teachers or provide administrative or student welfare support within the academy, under the guidance of the Line Manager, adhering to the Academy’s and the Trust’s policies and procedures.
About You
You should have experience of working with young people and the ability to establish good professional relationships with students and colleagues. You should also have the ability to deliver effective supervision of young people ensuring high standards of classroom management and behaviour. Applicants should be educated to GCSE A-C (or equivalent) in both English and Maths, be organised, reliable and resilient, and be committed to their own learning.
