Job Description

The Role

Reporting to senior management, you will have overall responsibility for the performance of our aftersales department, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, workshop efficiency, team engagement, and financial performance across Honda, Mitsubishi, and the newly introduced Chery franchise.

You will lead a dedicated team of Service Advisors, Vehicle Technicians, and support staff, creating a positive, customer-focused culture while delivering operational excellence and achieving key business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the Service Department.
  • Drive outstanding customer satisfaction and retention across all brands.
  • Maximise workshop productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Develop, coach, and motivate a high-performing aftersales team.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, policies, and industry regulations.
  • Support the successful launch and development of the Chery franchise within the business.
  • Monitor departmental KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, manufacturer partners, and colleagues across the dealership.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Service Manager or Aftersales Manager, or similar automotive leadership role.
  • Strong commercial awareness and a track record of delivering departmental growth and profitability.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Full UK driving licence.
