Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based at our King’s Lynn location. The Sales Executive will welcome and engage customers in the showroom, understand their needs, and guide them through the vehicle selection process. Daily responsibilities include presenting vehicles and features, arranging test drives, preparing accurate quotations, and managing the sales process from initial inquiry through to handover. The role involves maintaining up-to-date product knowledge, following up on leads via phone, email, and in person, and using internal systems to record customer interactions and sales activity. The Sales Executive will collaborate closely with colleagues in sales, finance, and aftersales to ensure a seamless customer experience and support ongoing business growth.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in automotive retail or a similar customer-facing environment.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and communicate clearly in person and in writing.
- Comfort with using CRM and dealership management systems, as well as basic proficiency with common office software.
- Solid negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on ethical selling and meeting customer needs.
- Ability to work to targets and deadlines while maintaining high standards of professionalism and accuracy.
- Valid driver’s license and confidence in conducting test drives with customers.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak periods, as required in a retail environment.
