Main Purpose of the job
- To ensure efficient and profitable operation of the finance and insurance functions.
- Offer our insurance products to customers providing them with a thorough explanation. The primary method being telephone, using email and other systems to support.
- Look for opportunities to generate finance sales where customers have initially chosen to use their own funds.
- Processing the sale of insurance products accurately and securely, taking payment through approved sources and channels.
- To check and approve each vehicle transaction at both invoicing and handover stage
- To ensure it operates in a compliant manner through the use of the ITC Apex software
- To operate in such a way as to maximise sales and returns to the dealership
- To maintain a high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) with the dealerships customers.
- To achieve financial income and penetration targets set by the Group.
About you
- Experience and up to date knowledge of the finance and insurance industry
- Ability to negotiate profitable transactions
- Proven experience in a compliance role within the motor retail industry, preferably in a sales or dealership environment
- Strong understanding of data protection and privacy laws, including GDPR compliance and ability to maintain online self accreditation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to enable you to build good customer relationships
