Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 dependent upon experience

Hours: 9.00 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday

The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Internal Recruiter to join our Human Resources team. This crucial role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for all departments and roles across the Holdcroft group, ensuring we attract and hire the best talent. A key component of this role also involves providing essential support to our flourishing Apprentice Programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sourcing and Attraction: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high‑calibre candidates across all business areas. Utilise various channels including job boards, social media, careers page, recruitment events, and employee referrals.
  • Candidate Management: Manage the candidate pipeline from initial application through to offer and onboarding.
  • Screening and Shortlisting: Review applications and CVs, conduct initial telephone/video screenings, and shortlisting candidates for hiring managers.
  • Interview Coordination: Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers, ensuring a positive and efficient experience for all candidates.
  • Offer Management: Work with our HR Administrator to prepare the offers, manage negotiation where necessary, and handle pre-employment checks.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain consistent and professional communication with hiring managers, providing regular updates on recruitment progress and offering guidance on best practices.
  • Recruitment Metrics: Using our Teamtailor recruitment system track and analyse key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, source of hire) to continually improve the effectiveness of the process.

Holdcroft Academy Apprentice Programme

Work closely with our Training Partners to coordinate our newly formed Academy Apprentice programme.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as an Internal Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Specialist, or similar role, preferably within a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience within the automotive sector is advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent knowledge of full‑cycle recruiting techniques and sourcing methods.
  • Familiarity with Team Tailor an advantage.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with candidates and Group Hiring Managers.
  • Proactive, self‑starter attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • A Team Player that is happy to support colleagues.
