The Opportunity
Are you a skilled electrical professional ready to step into a pivotal leadership role with a global industry leader? Holcim is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Team Leader to guide our team to success. In this dynamic onsite position, you will be at the heart of our operations, taking on a critical statutory presence on site as the appointed 8.1.d under the Quarry Regulations 1999. This permanent role offers a fantastic opportunity to showcase your technical expertise while mentoring a dedicated team, ensuring the highest standards of safety, and keeping our production plant moving forward smoothly.
Core Responsibilities
- Supervising and Coordinating: Leading your shift, organising the maintenance team, and coordinating daily tasks to align seamlessly with production activities.
- Technical Oversight & Breakdown Response: Monitoring electrical systems, equipment, and stores, while reacting promptly and efficiently to site breakdowns to minimise downtime.
- Safety & Compliance leadership: Conducting risk assessments, health and safety tours, RAMS/SSOW production, and Regulation 12 inspections to uphold a safety-first culture.
- Team Development: Recruiting, training, and managing staff, supporting and developing apprentices, and fostering an inclusive, highly motivated team environment.
- Contractor & Project Management: Inducting and managing onsite contractors to ensure all outsourced tasks are executed competently and safely.
- Administrative Management: Maintaining robust operational records, completing administrative duties via Key 2, and utilising Internal Management Systems (IMS).
