The Opportunity

We have a new vacancy for a Multi Skilled Operative to join our team at Westleigh Quarry in Tiverton, as our Operative reporting to our Site Manager, you\’ll join our operational team to help run the quarry and process plant safely and efficiently. You will have the opportunity to work with both fixed and mobile plants to safely move and process materials.

Who you are

• We are looking for a highly Safety conscious and motivated General Operative with drive and enthusiasm to work as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and team working skills.
• Good organisational skills.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Previous experience within a similar industry – preferred but not essential.
• Experience in operation of mobile and static plants (Loading Shovel, Rigid Dump Truck etc.) – preferred but non essential.
