The Opportunity:

Are you an inspiring operational leader ready to take the reins of a high-impact, rapidly expanding business unit? This is an exciting opportunity to join our CDM business at Holcim as we experience significant growth! In this key leadership position, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our operational success, taking ownership of on-site performance, safety standards, and sustainable financial growth. You will directly lead and empower two dedicated on-site teams, ensuring operational excellence, seamless customer service, and strong collaboration across the wider business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety & Sustainability Leadership: Champion a zero-harm culture across all allocated business units. Oversee Health, Safety, and Environmental objectives, leading interactive safety tours, supporting team coaching, and ensuring compliance with all company policies and permits.
• Operational Excellence: Direct day-to-day on-site activities to ensure efficiency measures are embedded and best practices are shared across the region.
• Team Empowerment: Direct, coach, and support two on-site teams, fostering an environment of continuous professional development, high engagement, and clear accountability.
• Financial & Strategic Management: Manage operational budgets, control fixed costs, and facilitate accurate forward forecasting to achieve EBITDA targets and maintain strong financial controls.
• Stakeholder & Customer Engagement: Build and sustain positive, collaborative relationships with internal teams, suppliers, statutory bodies, local community neighbours, and external customers to deliver exceptional service quality.
• Quality Control: Ensure strict adherence to product quality plans, audit compliance, and prompt root-cause analysis to address and resolve any operational or quality queries.
