The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Depot Operative to join our Aggregates Rail Depot in Harlow. This is a permanent, site-based role working Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:00, with overtime available. As an Operative you will need to perform a wide range of duties at the plant site to ensure that this key strategic location maintains its high profile of both a safe working and productive environment. You will be required to learn all aspects of the site, through to the safe operation of mobile plants and production.
What will you bring?
- A highly motivated individual with drive and enthusiasm.
- Ability to work as part of a 24 hour, 7 day a week operation as required.
- Excellent communication and team working skills.
- Good organisational skills.
- Ability to work to a deadline.
- Ability to do physical labour.
- Previous experience within a similar industry.
- Experience in the operation of mobile plant (Loading Shovel, Articulated Dump Truck) safely and efficiently carrying out daily safety checks.
