The Opportunity
We're looking for a friendly, organised and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our busy Concrete Division based in Ashbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. Previous experience within the construction or concrete industry isn't essential – we're much more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, personality and willingness to learn. Full training and ongoing development will be provided.
As a key member of our Customer Service team, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring every enquiry is handled professionally and efficiently. You'll play an important role in supporting customers, processing orders and working closely with colleagues to deliver a first-class service. We're also in the process of implementing Salesforce, making this an exciting time to join the business and be part of a positive period of change.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Responding to pricing enquiries and providing product information.
- Sending product literature, brochures and supporting documentation to customers.
- Answering incoming telephone calls and managing customer enquiries.
- Handling challenging conversations with confidence, empathy and professionalism.
- Updating customer records and maintaining accurate information.
- Using Microsoft Excel to download, manage and send information to customers.
- Working closely with internal departments to ensure a smooth customer experience.
