The Opportunity

Holcim UK is seeking a professional and reliable Class 2 HGV Driver to join our specialised Mortar team based at our Ellesmere Port plant. As the "face of the company" on-site, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of mortar products to various construction projects across the region. This is not just a driving role; it involves operating specialised equipment and maintaining high standards of customer service and safety.

What will you bring?

  • Can work alone or part of a team.
  • Previous experience in HGV driving is preferred, though specialised training for mortar delivery will be provided.
  • Experience in the construction or aggregates industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of AI Policies and procedures an advantage.
  • Customer Focused.
  • Good Communication skills required.
  • Previous HGV licence and CPC card is desirable.
  • MPQC is preferred.
  • Strong spatial awareness for maneuvering in tight site environments and a basic understanding of vehicle mechanics.
