We are looking for an enthusiastic Team Leader to join us on our journey towards operational excellence and zero harm. In this dynamic role, you will lead, empower, and support our factory operatives on the shop floor, creating a safe, inclusive, and highly collaborative environment where everyone can thrive.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Championing Health, Safety, and Wellbeing: Actively promoting our "Zero Harm" safety culture, carrying out interactive safety tours, and delivering regular health and safety briefings and toolbox talks.
  • Leading and Developing People: Directing, training, and encouraging your team members to achieve shared goals while nurturing their individual development through regular job reviews and coaching.
  • Delivering Operational Excellence: Communicating the production plan, managing local operational budgets, maintaining high product quality standards, and proactively identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Fostering Collaboration: Building positive, supportive working relationships both within your immediate team and across other factory functions to ensure seamless operations.

  • Is People-Focused and Empowering: You have a genuine passion for guiding, coaching, and supporting others.
  • Is Safety-Conscious: You hold a strong personal commitment to health, safety, and employee welfare, ideally backed by a minimum of an IOSH certification or equivalent safety training.
  • Is an Effective Communicator: You are comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels, leading engaging team briefings, and maintaining clear, open dialogue.
  • Is Adaptable and Solution-Oriented: You thrive under pressure, make thoughtful decisions based on reliable information, and proactively seek out ways to improve day-to-day processes.
  • Is Organised and Composed: You possess strong time management, planning, and administration skills, with a good level of IT literacy (including standard Microsoft packages).
  • Brings Practical Insight: You have experience in a manufacturing or production environment, paired with a solid understanding of operational, financial, or quality workflows.
