The Opportunity

We have a new vacancy for an HGV Class 2 Tanker Driver to join our expanding logistics team based out of our Readymix depot in Holme Park.

Responsible for the day to day operation of a POD truck based predominantly in Ellesmer Port plant but on occasions will be required to operate at other plants within the region. To drive any vehicle of the companys fleet which has been assigned and a current licence is held. To uphold the high standard of image, presentation and delivery service for which the company is known and to strive to improve fuel efficiencies and reduce cost minimisation. You will also be required to do Loading & Unloading of vehicles, maintenance & vehicle checks. You will be responsible for maintaining a professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers and site staff.

Who you are

  • Can work alone or part of a team .

  • Flexible approach to hours as this role will require some weekend and potentially night working.

  • Knowledge of AI Policies and procedures is an advantage.

  • Knowledge of concrete is desired but not essential.

  • Customer Focused.

  • Good Communication skills required.

  • Previous HGV licence and CPC card is desirable.

  • Valid Tachocard is desirable.

  • Experience driving Class2 vehicle is desirable.

  • MPQC is preferred
