This is an exciting, high-visibility opportunity to keep our heavy plant equipment operating at peak performance across our UK site batch operations.
Based in the Midlands and covering sites nationwide, you will be the go-to technical expert ensuring asset capability, minimising downtime, and driving engineering excellence in a vital part of our business. This is a Permanent, full-time position operating on-site with regular travel across our UK operations, you will need a full UK driving licence for this position.
In this role, your core responsibilities will include:
- Preventative & Reactive Maintenance: Executing planned maintenance schedules and responding swiftly to plant breakdowns to return equipment to production efficiently with permanent technical solutions.
- Safety Leadership: Adhering to the highest health, safety, and environmental standards, utilising a "stop and think" approach to all tasks, and ensuring all safety documentation is meticulously completed.
- Technical Inspections: Conducting daily plant assessments, logging stoppages accurately, and collaborating closely with management and site teams.
- Continuous Improvement: Contributing to safe working methods, maintaining immaculate housekeeping, and supporting the training of site operatives to elevate collective maintenance standards.

You are a highly motivated, enthusiastic Mechanical Field Service Engineer who takes pride in solving complex mechanical challenges and ensuring operational excellence.
