The Opportunity

We are looking for a Sector Lead to join our Major Projects team at Holcim UK, playing a key role in shaping how we target, position and win large, complex projects across priority sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of strategy, relationships and delivery. If you enjoy bringing clarity to complexity, building trusted partnerships and seeing ideas turn into major projects on the ground, this role offers real scope and impact.

You will have the chance to influence where we focus our efforts, shape sector strategies, and work closely with senior leaders to convert opportunity into long term, sustainable growth. You will be part of a collaborative, forward thinking team that works across the business to develop solutions for some of the UK's most significant projects, contributing directly to Holcim's growth ambitions and purpose led strategy. You will create strong internal and external relationships, working closely with senior stakeholders across the business and with customers and partners across your sector. A key part of the role is identifying and developing partnerships that support sustainable growth and help position Holcim as a trusted, long term partner on major projects.

Who you are

As an experienced senior leader, you bring the ability to shape sector strategy while remaining closely connected to how major projects are developed and delivered on site. A strong understanding of the construction and major projects environment allows you to translate sector insight into clear, commercially aligned opportunities. You are comfortable working alongside directors and senior leaders, offering sound judgement and perspective to strategic decision making. Experience operating within complex organisations enables you to bring people together across functions, align priorities and provide clarity as opportunities progress from early engagement through to delivery. Challenges are approached with resilience and balance, using structured thinking to navigate complexity and arrive at practical, considered outcomes. Collaboration, openness and long term partnership are central to how you work. You are motivated by the opportunity to shape sector strategy and see it realised through high quality, sustainable construction projects that deliver visible, lasting impact.

We are committed to building a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. You will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, disability or age.
