The Opportunity
Holcim's FP&A function is at a pivotal stage of its transformation. Joining an evolving department, you'll influence strategic decision-making at scale. Reporting to the FP&A Director, you'll act as a trusted advisor to operational leadership, helping shape business performance through financial challenge, investment analysis, and forward-looking insight.
Rather than focusing purely on reporting and planning cycles, this role is centred on influencing decisions, balancing commercial opportunity, operational priorities, sustainability commitments, and financial performance across a complex business environment. You'll play a key role in helping leadership teams understand trade-offs, identify risks, and make informed decisions that support long-term value creation.
Alongside business partnering responsibilities, you'll also contribute to the ongoing evolution of the FP&A function, helping embed a more commercially integrated and strategically focused approach to financial planning across the organisation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver monthly financial, operational, and sustainability reporting, providing clear explanations of key drivers and trends.
- Lead the technical delivery of forecasting, budgeting, and mid-term planning processes.
- Build, maintain, and enhance financial models that support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct scenario analysis to assess business performance, including EBITDA and cash flow outcomes.
- Translate complex data into accessible insights using visualisation tools for senior stakeholders.
Who You Are
- You are a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with a strong grounding in financial planning and analysis.
- You are comfortable working with complex data and financial models, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- You are naturally curious about how the business operates and seek to understand the drivers behind performance.
- You communicate confidently, adapting technical financial information into clear, relevant insight for non-finance stakeholders.
- You are adaptable and open to change, with an interest in contributing to the ongoing development of FP&A processes and capability.
