The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Plant Operator to join our team at our operations in Chelmsford Depot. You will be operating mobile plant across multiple sites (Loading Shovel, Articulated Dump Truck, 360 Excavator) safely and efficiently carrying out daily safety checks via the electronic system. You will also look after Operation of fixed production plant and Weighbridge Dispatching and controlling the quality of product. Start time is 6:00AM to 4:00PM, it includes weekend working as well.
Who you are
- A highly motivated individual with drive and enthusiasm.
- Ability to work as part of a 24 hour, 7 day a week operation as required.
- Excellent communication and team working skills.
- Good organisational skills.
- Ability to work to a deadline.
- Ability to do physical labour.
- Previous experience within a similar industry.
- Experience in the operation of mobile plant (Loading Shovel, Articulated Dump Truck) safely and efficiently carrying out daily safety checks.
