The Opportunity

We are looking for a driven and customer-focused Internal Sales Executive to join our commercial team. This role plays a key part in delivering sales growth, managing customer relationships, and supporting both internal and external sales teams to achieve revenue, margin, and service targets. You will be responsible for proactively managing customer enquiries, identifying and securing new business opportunities, and ensuring a high standard of sales administration and customer service across your designated territory.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting the achievement of sales revenue and margin targets within your allocated territory
  • Proactively identifying, chasing, and securing new business opportunities
  • Managing and responding to customer enquiries, providing outstanding service at all times
  • Promoting the full Holcim UK product range, including cross-selling opportunities
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders
  • Tracking projects, opportunities, and customer activity using Salesforce and internal systems
  • Maintaining accurate pricing, quotes, contracts, and customer data in line with audit requirements
  • Managing invoice queries and customer complaints through to resolution
  • Gathering and recording market intelligence including competitor activity and customer trends
  • Supporting sales campaigns and working closely with Key Account Managers and external sales teams
  • Attending customer meetings and site visits where required
  • Ensuring all activity is carried out in line with Health & Safety, Quality, Competition Law, and Holcim Brand Values

What you'll bring
