We're looking for an experienced logistics leader to join our Land Recovery business as a Senior Logistics Manager, based at our Stoke office. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a national logistics operation that runs 24/7 across the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day‑to‑day logistics operation, ensuring the safe, efficient and compliant movement of materials and equipment across a nationwide 24/7 operation.
  • Act as the named holder of the company's Operator Licence, maintaining full compliance with all DVSA and Operator Licence undertakings and ensuring best practice across transport operations.
  • Lead, develop and support a team of planners, compliance and operational colleagues, creating a positive culture focused on accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee fleet performance, driver compliance, tachograph and working time regulations, ensuring the business maintains the highest standards of safety and legal compliance.

Qualifications

  • Transport Manager CPC and experience acting within a compliant transport management environment.
  • Experience leading logistics, transport or fleet operations, ideally managing an owned HGV fleet.
  • Solid understanding of Operator Licence obligations, DVSA requirements, driver hours, tachograph regulations and transport compliance.
  • Strong organisational and decision‑making skills, with the confidence to balance strategic priorities alongside operational challenges.
