We have a brand new vacancy for Lead Night HGV Driver to join our expanding Holcim internal driver team based out of our Bardon Hill Head Office, in Leicestershire. Here at Holcim we are a major supplier of quality materials and services to the construction industry including primary and recycled aggregates, topsoil and bulk earth moving. The company expects that as a professional HGV driver you will uphold the high standards set by the company and run the truck in an effective manner and minimise damage to the vehicle.
Responsibilities:
- Delivery of asphalt and planings to Holcim customers.
- Keep vehicles in good working order.
- Highest standard of daily defect checks and reporting.
- Lead by example and champion Holcim standards and values.
- Provide on the ground support for the driver team.
- Keep up to date with driver and vehicle availability.
- Communicate with day and night planners on work and amendments.
- Communicate with the night coordination team.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a current C category licence.
- Up to date CPC qualified with a valid digi card.
- Focus on quality customer service.
