As Home Automation/AV Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, Servicing and maintaining home automation and audio visual systems for various settings including domestic, commercial and new builds.
Responsibilities:
Installation and Configuration:

Installation of audio visual systems including projectors, sound systems and video conferencing equipment.

Installation of home automation systems including control4, Lutron and Rako.

Configure equipment to ensure optimal performance and integration with existing technology infrastructure.

Installation and maintenance of CCTV System’s.
-
Conduct testing to ensure correct function before handover.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

Perform routine maintenance checks on audio visual systems to uphold performance standards.

Diagnose technical issues promptly and implement solutions to minimize downtime.

Update software and firmware as necessary to maintain system security and functionality.

Troubleshoot connectivity problems and audio visual equipment malfunctions efficiently.
Customer Support:

Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving technical concerns promptly.

Provide training to end-users on operating the audio visual equipment effectively.
Good understanding of networking required.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex audio visual issues effectively.

Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
