Java Developer to join a team working on an exciting application modernisation and re-platforming project within a large enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain
Java 11+ backend applications , APIs and microservices.
- Design and build
RESTful APIs and scalable services.
- Support some frontend development using Angular, HTML5 and Java Script .
- Work with
Neo4j and Postgre SQL databases.
- Develop automated tests using
JUnit, Mockito and Cucumber .
- Work within an
Agile CI/CD environment , contributing to peer reviews and automated testing.
- Key Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience with
- Experience building microservices and REST APIs .
- Experience with
Angular/Java Script and modern web applications.
- Knowledge of
Neo4j or other graph databases is desirable.
- Experience upgrading dependencies and addressing security vulnerabilities/dependency conflicts .
