Location: Sheffield-Based Hybrid
We are looking for an experienced Architect to support Risk & Compliance (R&C) Technology, providing architectural guidance across projects and programmes. The role will focus on solution design, target architecture, governance, risk management, and alignment with Group architecture standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and challenge solution designs to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
- Develop target and transition architectures for the assigned domain.
- Represent architecture in governance forums and manage cross-programme dependencies and risks.
- Support Build vs Buy decisions and Low-Code/No-Code governance.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives, including the Compass platform and AI/GenAI programmes.
- Provide architectural guidance and improve solution architecture capabilities across engineering teams.
Required Experience:
- Strong experience in enterprise or solution architecture, ideally within banking or financial services.
- Experience in risk, compliance, or other complex technology environments.
- Strong knowledge of architecture governance, target-state design, and technology strategy.
- Ability to manage architectural risks, dependencies, and stakeholder relationships.
