Finance Director – Transport & Infrastructure

Our client is an established and growing public transport provider, operating across northern England and Scotland. They are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Finance Director to join their Executive team and work on a hybrid basis from Manchester.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background and proven record of success in financial management, with experience in developing and implementing key financial, legal, procurement, and technology strategies.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing key financial, legal, procurement, and technology strategies.
• Ensuring alignment with company requirements, governance standards, and meeting deadlines.
• Liaising closely with business operations and commercial teams to ensure business and financial information and activity is congruent and consistent.

The ideal candidate will have a forward-thinking approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across the Executive team to meet financial objectives and drive the finance function forward.
