What does a Designer do at Hogarth?
In this role you will be responsible for creating multimedia design across all media including: print, online (digital and social), OOH, video and collateral campaigns and initiatives for well-known global brands. You will have a great eye for design, come from a print or digital background, be fluent in Adobe Creative Suite and have outstanding communication and organisation skills. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, fun environment, ensuring all work adheres to client guidelines, meets the brand requirements, timelines and deadlines.
In addition to the above the role will be responsible for the following:
- Interrogating briefs for completeness and consulting with our project manager on intended usage to ensure final deliverables and deadlines are clearly defined.
- Manage multiple jobs and projects at any one time, across all disciplines, at different stages and with different requirements.
- Demonstrate and champion a clear understanding of our client’s brand, delivering a consistently high quality of work.
- Expand on a variety of creative asset formats, such as print (retail), digital, social and moving image (social), and follow through to producing artwork which adheres to guidelines and specs for various media.
- Create designs for bespoke spaces such as DOOH and OOH.
- Create and deliver online retail assets for 3rd Party Retailers.
- Professionally present concepts as in-situ mock-ups to our client’s Centre of Excellence for approval.
- Display an excellent understanding of design theory and typography.
- Client facing skills and presentation abilities and present ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- Manage and monitor timelines and deadlines, set realistic client expectations and proactively chase and interrogate delays.
- Effectively reprioritise workload if new requests require, being proactive in resolving any issues that arise and escalating as appropriate for support.
- Work collaboratively with project manager, the client and the wider Hogarth team.
- Manage work using relevant Hogarth technologies and adhere to agreed processes, ensuring that best practice is applied at all times.
- Liaise with all stakeholders, ensuring they are always kept up to date with the status of projects and attending and inputting to meetings in relation to account relationships, team collaboration, workflow, workload management and issue resolution.
Requirements:
- Experience working in design teams within the industry
- Proven experience in multimedia design
- Strong design and typography skills
- Possess advanced Mac and program skills, including key Creative Suite programs (InDesign, Photoshop, Figma, Premier Pro/AFX)
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- A "can do" attitude and calmness under pressure
