The Hogarth Studios team provides WPP agencies with access to creative content production services, including primary production and post production, as well as design, retouching, photography, copyrighting and creative teams. We offer brands an intelligent production solution, mixing content and technology with integrated analytics to deliver industry-leading work for those with multichannel creative content, development and production needs.

A Production Manager at Hogarth drives content production advancements by introducing new technologies, deploying new workflows, and ensuring production data security. They champion innovative solutions, support production processes, and improve workflows through collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Drive innovation in our content production environment, providing technical expertise on new production technologies and building strong links between production and post-production teams.
  • Work with Production Engineering to oversee the maintenance and support of the Devon's Point studio's IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, network devices, and storage systems.
  • Proactively identify, log and resolve technical production issues for the content production operation.
  • Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect the studio's data and assets.
  • Conduct regular production data security audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure that the studio operation is compliant with WPP InfoSec policies.
  • Identify and champion innovative production solutions to drive new business growth.
  • Work with the UK Head of Film and Content to support on content production processes and provide additional shooting support as determined by the requirements of the role.
  • Work with the Head of Post Production to provide technical support to the editing and motion design teams and ensure that we build out a robust post production pipeline across all UK teams.
  • Lead on all DIT briefs, ensuring that our approach is optimised for the latest tools and technologies and ensuring that our productions are fully compliant with our WPP data security requirements.
  • Manage our unified Asset Management and MCR teams, leveraging the latest tools to drive innovative practices in data management and storage to improve our content production workflows.
  • Engage with the Applied Innovation, AI and Engineering teams to create a pipeline that brings production-ready technology to the studio teams.
  • Work with the Post Production leadership team to drive workflow unification across all UK studios.
  • Work with the Virtual Production lead on shoot planning, preparation and technical requirements.
Requirements
  • Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition and Media Encoder.
  • Proficient knowledge of high-end camera, sound and lighting equipment.
  • Strong understanding of digital content production workflows and data management.
  • Proven experience with DIT processes and data security.
  • Excellent knowledge of virtual production technologies and techniques.
  • Familiarity with VFX workflows, processes and technology.
  • Advanced technical expertise in post-production software and emerging broadcast technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and implement innovative production solutions.
  • Experience with asset management systems and content storage solutions.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to supervise technical projects.
  • Practical experience as a content producer highly desired.
  • Experience with complex post production workflows.
  • Knowledge of broadcast standards and delivery specifications.
  • Excellent IT skills across both Windows and Mac environments.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly evolving technology and industry trends.
