The HR Advisor provides employee relations and project support to the UK WPP Production team. This is a unique role that will allow the right candidate to support a variety of functions and responsibilities. This role provides support to the HR Business Partners in managing all HR challenges impacting our employees and business.
You will deliver proactive, pragmatic, creative and businessâfocused HR advice and solutions across WPP Production, building and developing relationships with managers and staff at all levels to provide support and guidance on a range of HR matters and share best practice throughout the business.
This role reports to a HR Business Partner and works closely with the HR Business Partners and HR Coordinators in supporting the wider WPP Production population in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and maintain effective working relationships with line managers, business leaders and other key stakeholders.
- Advise, support and coach both employees and managers on employee relations and employee life cycle matters ensuring that all issues are dealt with in good time, sensitively and appropriately.
- Support and guide line managers, building their competence and confidence to enable them to effectively manage their teams and the business.
- Work in partnership with the HR Business Partner and operational management teams to identify opportunities to support improved people performance in line with business needs.
- Remain up to date with HR best practice both generally and in relevant business sectors.
- Support the wider HR Team in the review of existing people policies and processes (including taking account of new and upcoming employment legislation), and supporting the roll out of new initiatives to ensure line managers are fully supported and able to effectively manage their teams.
- Support the development and roll out of HR projects across your internal client groups to support the wider HR agenda.
- Provide support when required to the broader HR team, specifically on project work whether local or global.
- Support the HR Coordinator with ensuring all employee data within the HRIS is accurate.
