What does a Print Project Manager do at Hogarth? Responsible for the coordination, adaptation and implementation of the production process from brief through to final production phases. Our Project Managers are super-organised and adept multi-taskers. They support the Project Management Lead, Team Lead (when applicable), and Project Managers in the efficient running of accounts and the department. Reporting lines and key stakeholders are as follows:

This role reports to the Print Project Management Lead. You will work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g. Production studio/Client service) and external stakeholders (e.g. creative agencies, clients and technical third party).

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from start to finish (e.g. dissecting initial brief, writing brief, managing feedback and delivery in relation to jobs, projects and campaigns; manage all stages).
  • First point of contact for your primary accounts and/or any assigned projects across the department.
  • Accountable as the project owner; ownership when there are issues/queries to resolve for internal/external stakeholders.
  • Challenge and review the current ways of working for your primary account.
  • Support onboarding of new brands and/or clients.
  • Support account transitions to different global studios (e.g. offshoring).
  • Support on setting up workflow documentation and other documentation (e.g. training documents).
  • Support the Print Project Management Lead and/or Senior PM/Team Lead on set tasks.
  • Manage other ad hoc requests as required.
  • Communication: be the key liaison with internal/external stakeholders for your primary account; act as point of contact for HWW hubs and external stakeholders/third parties when applicable; lead calls with internal and external stakeholders when required.
  • Finance: estimate projects and individual jobs, manage budgeting, revenue recognition & billing, raise POs, and oversee billing if required; update finance and reporting trackers as applicable.
  • Tools: use internal production tools (workflow management, job management systems, trackers, finance and reporting tools) and external project management tools where applicable (e.g., Smartsheet, Monday, Miro).
  • Technical understanding and competency of static production (e.g. Press, OOH, POS, Shopper, Brochures, Literature, Social, Digital and Presentations) in relation to Creative, Retouching, Mastering and Adaptation & Localisation.
  • Proven experience in a Static Production project management role.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High level of IT literacy, including Acrobat and Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams).
  • Strong numeracy skills (e.g. Excel formulas, cost estimates).
  • Excellent prioritisation, time management and attention to detail.
  • Proactive, with good decision-making ability; resilient and able to work under pressure.
  • Problem solving skills to identify challenges and provide solutions.
  • Experience managing and servicing international accounts in multiple markets with multiple stakeholders is desirable.
  • Fluent oral and written English is essential; other languages are desirable.
  • Good spoken and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; responsible attitude.
  • Flexibility with changing goals/environments; calmness under pressure; accuracy in record-keeping.
