What does a Senior Editor do at WPP Production?

WPP Production is seeking an experienced Senior Editor to join our London team within our full-service post facility at GPS. As a Senior Editor, you'll be at the forefront of transforming ideas into captivating visual narratives. Collaborating closely across multi-disciplinary studio capabilities and in partnership with our talented Agency network, you'll refine and enhance creative concepts to create beautiful and effective work that resonates with audiences globally. Your creativity, craft, and expertise will shape campaigns for renowned brands, pushing creative boundaries and delivering excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Editing various projects including crafting original content and partnering with clients and creatives to elevate the work.
  • Must be adept at working closely with creative teams, such as directors and other creative professionals, to bring their vision to life.
  • Skilled at building strong relationships with creatives and clients to foster a productive and collaborative working environment.
  • Proactive in bringing their own ideas, thoughts, and suggestions to the editing process, adding value to the project.
  • Developing efficient workflows.
  • Collaborating with producers on scheduling needs and understanding the timelines on projects.
  • Full comprehension and able to guide the team where needed workflows for audio, colour, flame, and After FX sessions.
  • Understanding of new AI tools and always bringing innovative ways of telling a story.

Requirements:

  • Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Premiere.
  • Working knowledge of After FX, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Ability to maintain a positive, friendly relationship with all clients.
  • Curious and currently experimenting with latest AI tools.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Must have commercial work and an extensive portfolio.
  • Meticulously organized and a team player.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
