What does a Transcreation Account Manager do at Hogarth? Our Transcreation Account Managers (TAMs) are super-organised and adept multi-taskers. They are accountable for end-to-end project delivery, delivering projects on time, on specification and on budget. Our CMs possess good project and client management skills and best-practice methodology. They are the key contact for projects, responsible for relaying timing, scope, budget, resource and change information to the wider project and production teams.
Due to an increased volume of work coming in from the client, we are opening an opportunity to work on one of the world’s most recognised luxury brands. To thrive in this role, you will be highly organised with a passion for delivering top tier client service and have a strong personal desire to continually grow and develop your skills. You’ll be experienced in client servicing and have a background in localisation of moving picture.
Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of Transcreation cycle (briefing, liaising with talents, copy validation, admin, costing or cost estimates)
- Strive to better the relations with client, stakeholders and talents
- Work closely with stakeholders across the Print, Moving Image and Digital Project teams
- Carry out quality assurance prior to sharing copies for client approval as per agreed guidelines
- Ensure style guides, reference material glossaries are always up to date in line with changing requirements
- Liaise with client for validation of transcreated / translated copies
- Demonstrate clear understanding of the brand – act as a brand guardian
- Highlight and escalate quality control issues to Senior Transcreation team members
- Manage agreed budgets and administration
- Provide costs / prepare accurate cost estimates against the Rate Card for Transcreation Team Lead’s approval
- Support Senior Transcreation Managers with various projects by following the approved processes, making sure projects are delivered by the agreed target date and by ensuring that the final material delivered is of a high quality
- Follow agreed workflows and utilise relevant project management tools
Reporting lines and key stakeholders
This role reports into a Senior Transcreation Account Manager. There will be close collaboration with all teams across the client account including a network of freelancers and other agencies the client appoints for different stages of their advertising materials production.
Requirements:
- Experience of working within language industry (translation, transcreation, localisation)
- Linguistic background
- An understanding of marketing and production implementation processes across key channels such as TV, social, print, digital etc would be beneficial
- Understanding of the production and the creative development process, content production, technology, quality assurance testing and marketing methodologies
- Ability to manage small projects with varying components, demonstrable ability to deliver on time and on budget
- Experience of managing client relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication
- An appreciation for how great work gets done and a commitment to ensuring flawless execution and delivery
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint / Keynote, wireframing / workflow tools, online project management / collaboration / ticketing tools e.g. JIRA, Smartsheet, Trello, Miro etc
