Department: Marketing and Business Development

We have a well-established global Marketing and Business Development (M&BD) team which supports the firm on a wide range of business development, client relationship management and reputational activities.

Working Hours: 35 hours per week, 9:30am to 5:30pm but additional hours may be required. We are happy to consider agile and flexible working patterns. Our approach to hybrid working allows for up to 40% of time working from home and 60% working in the office.

Role Overview: We are seeking a Pitches and Pursuits Project Manager to support the Pitches and Pursuits team on a fixed term contract as the firm transitions through a proposed merger to form Hogan Lovells Cadwalader. The role will cover a mix of project management, content writing and ad hoc responsibilities across the firm’s Pitch to Win program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Head of Pitches and Pursuits in delivering a project to ensure all pitch and credentials materials used across the firm are updated and redesigned ahead of the launch of the new merged firm. This may include:
    • Coordinating updates and input from across the global M&BD team.
    • Supporting the development of updated messaging for practice and business areas.
    • Holding regular review meetings and providing project management support to track actions.
    • Quality checking updated content and PowerPoint designs.
    • Managing the process to add all content to our central repository ahead of launch.
  • Reviewing standard central materials and identifying ways to update messaging to align with the new firm brand and tone of voice. Crafting this new messaging and populating into visually persuasive ppt slides.
  • Project support across other related programs, systems, and data sources.
  • Providing additional support to the Global Pitches Pursuits team on live pitch opportunities, such as carrying out client and market research, developing content to respond to client RFPs and project management support for the Pitch Lead throughout the process.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in project coordination or project support.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, persuasive business messaging.
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills and confidence working with templates / visual storytelling.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, including ability to coordinate inputs from a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to high‐quality output.
  • Familiarity with pitches, proposals or BD processes.
