Working Hours: 35 hours per week, 9:30am to 5:30pm but additional hours may be required. We are happy to consider agile and flexible working patterns. Our approach to hybrid working allows for up to 40% of time working from home and 60% working in the office.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Pitches and Pursuits Adviser to assist the Global Pitches and Pursuit Team (GPPT) with effective pitch development and delivery in a global, fast-paced/results-oriented environment. The Pitches and Pursuits Adviser will work under the supervision of one of our Pitches and Pursuits Managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as an integral member of the GPPT in the production of complex global pitches, and where applicable supporting the Pitches and Pursuits Manager(s) and the Pitches and Pursuits Senior Manager(s).
- Collaborate with the practice area and industry Marketing and Business Development (M&BD) teams to develop responses to client proposals and pitches, to support the firm's business development requirements.
- Be an ambassador for Hogan Lovells' pitch best practices to ensure pitch materials are consistently client-focused, compliant, and easy to evaluate.
- Own and manage various core responsibilities in the team to help us maintain useful infrastructure and resources, such as standard pitch content, accessible to the rest of the firm.
- Research and review relevant market, industry, competitor, and client information to help spot new opportunities and support the preparation of successful pitches.
- Collaborate with other administrative functions within the firm, including the finance team, pricing team, compliance team, and the general counsel's office, to ensure alignment and gathering of relevant information for pitch completion.
- Work with M&BD teams to identify compelling new ways to improve final pitch product and existing pitch processes.
- Help to identify inefficiencies in the pitch process and develop plan(s) to address.
- Keep abreast of relevant market and competitive intelligence.

Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience of marketing, business development, or proposal experience in a professional services, corporate or agency environment.
- A relevant qualification in marketing, communications or related field is preferred.
- An equivalent combination of direct related education and experience may be substituted.
