Office Location: London

Department: Marketing and Business Development

We have a well-established global Marketing and Business Development (M&BD) team which supports the firm on a wide range of business development, client relationship management and reputational activities.

Working Hours: 35 hours per week, 9:30am to 5:30pm but additional hours may be required. We are happy to consider agile and flexible working patterns. Our approach to hybrid working allows for up to 40% of time working from home and 60% working in the office.

Role Overview: We are seeking a Pitch and Content Development Manager to support the Corporate & Finance (C&F) M&BD team as the firm transitions through the merger to form Hogan Lovells Cadwalader. The role will lead on the drafting, refresh and maintenance of priority C&F pitch materials and other content, in addition to other ad hoc responsibilities for C&F content requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the C&F M&BD team (and wider stakeholders) to deliver a programme of pitch and content updates required following the merger with Cadwalader, ensuring priority materials are refreshed, consistent and ready for use ahead of Day 1 of the combination.
  • Coordinating inputs, updates and approvals from partners, fee earners and M&BD colleagues across Corporate & Finance and related practices.
  • Rewriting and updating priority pitch, credentials and capability content across key product and service lines (including adapting legacy materials for the combined firm).
  • Running review cycles (workbacks, meetings, version control) to keep drafting and sign-off on track against deadlines.
  • Quality-checking content for accuracy, consistency, style and tone; ensuring materials are visually persuasive and aligned to templates (e.g., PowerPoint).
  • Maintaining and uploading updated materials to the central repository / knowledge systems and supporting distribution and adoption across the team.
  • Incorporating core C&F messaging into pitches, credentials decks and written submissions.
  • Supporting the development and ongoing maintenance of related web content (working with digital / web teams as required), ensuring copy is current, accurate and consistent with pitch messaging.
  • Providing ad hoc support on live pitching requirements for C&F, including drafting and tailoring responses to RFPs, creating and updating pitch decks, coordinating inputs, and carrying out targeted client / market research.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in a pitch, proposal, pursuits or content development role (ideally within professional services).
  • Excellent writing, editing and rewriting skills, with the ability to craft clear, persuasive business messaging.
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills and confidence working with templates / visual storytelling to translate content into compelling pitch materials.
  • Strong stakeholder management, with the ability to coordinate inputs and drive reviews / sign-off with partners and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to quality and consistency across documents, decks and digital copy.
  • Bonus: experience in Finance / Financial Institutions (or strong interest in the sector).
