Department: Marketing and Business Development
Working Hours: 35 hours per week, 9:30am to 5:30pm; additional hours may be required. We are happy to consider agile and flexible working patterns. Our approach to hybrid working allows for up to 40% of time working from home and 60% in the office; please contact a member of the recruitment team to discuss further.
Role Overview
The Marketing and Business Development (M&BD) Manager – Corporate & Finance (Real Estate) will work closely with the Head of M&BD - Real Estate and the global Real Estate partnership, to drive the global strategy forward for the Real Estate practice and sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Head of M&BD - RE and the Global Head of RE on the implementation of the global business plan for the Real Estate practice and sector.
- Client account management responsibility for some of the firm’s key strategic priority clients in the Real Estate sector.
- Leading strategy around specific client opportunities to broaden existing relationships and drive the development of new relationships.
- Creating strategies for, and managing responses to, RFPs, customised pitches, and business development presentations across the Global Real Estate practices.
- Working closely with global M&BD team members on the delivery of global Real Estate marketing programs and campaigns to raise the profile of our practice and sector in the UK and international markets.
- Co-ordinating the quarterly global Real Estate sector newsletter, global calls and the bi-monthly Real Estate practice reports.
- Managing and contributing to wider Corporate & Finance Group and M&BD projects as required.
Skills & Experience
- Extensive relevant experience, preferably including time in a management role in the legal sector, and ideally previous exposure to the Real Estate sector.
- Solid experience in business planning and management, including budgeting and ROI reporting.
- Excellent operational and project management skills.
- A broad base of experience across the marketing mix, but with a strong background in client relationship management, pitches and targeting.
