Hogan Lovells Cadwalader expects all members of the firm to dedicate at least 25 hours a year to firm-approved Responsible Business activity each calendar year. Responsible Business hours include time spent on approved firm activity across the various strands of our program, as follows: Pro bono legal advice; Community investment; Fundraising partnerships; Inclusion; Wellbeing; and Sustainability.
Working Hours: 35 hours per week, 9:30am to 5:30pm but additional hours may be required. We are happy to consider agile and flexible working patterns. Our approach to hybrid working allows for up to 40% of time working from home and 60% working in the office.
Role Overview: The Coordinator will support the Senior Manager and the Global Head of Community Investment, assisting with the day-to-day running of community investment and fundraising charity partnership initiatives in the UK including facilitating relevant internal and external communications. Recently this has included the management of our flagship ‘Debate It!’ education programme and delivering fundraising and engagement activities with our dedicated UK charity partner, ‘The Rivers Trust’.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing internal communications, including posters, presentations and newsletters.
- Running UK fundraising events and helping to facilitate and support volunteering opportunities including larger initiatives like our “Debate It!” programme or “Legally Ballroom”.
- Collecting impact data and providing information for our reporting on UK community investment and fundraising activities.
- Recruiting, coordinating and liaising with volunteers.
- Liaising with community partners and stakeholders.
- Minute taking in meetings.
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
- Recruiting, motivating and managing volunteers.
- Running fundraising events.
- Communications experience.
Preferred:
- Experience working in corporate responsibility or mission led businesses.
- Experience with databases use and management.
- Microsoft Project skills: working efficiently in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
