We are seeking a Cutting Tools Specialist to cover the West Midlands area.

Responsibilities:
- Planning customer visits to maximise output
- Making use of and promoting our digital solutions (Toolscout, machining calculator etc)
- Visiting customers to develop new opportunities
- Developing business negotiations with clients
- Screening and approaching high potential customers
- Nurturing a network of relationships with decision makers
- Motivating and guiding area sales managers
- Ensuring the correct application of the product policy
- Proactively seeking new information to expand knowledge of cutting tools
- Providing practical training to both internal team and customers
- Working closely with product management, technical sales and other specialists
- Analysing competitors’ landscape
- Identifying prospects
- Achieving sales targets in defined product groups
- Reporting to company office when required
- Offering consistent technical support to clients, on their premises or virtually
- Acting as reference point for the customer regarding all cutting tools and clamping topics
- Actively promoting re-grinding services
- Coordinating with Area Sales Managers to optimise interactions with clients in terms of efficiency and effectiveness
- Finding solutions to special products required by customers
- Helping customers improve productivity in the production process
- Presenting innovations to our sales team and customers
- Taking an active role in investigating and solving incidences and claims
- Executing tests and demos in showrooms, on customers' premises, etc.
- Participating in exhibitions and other events
- Accurately, regularly and effectively utilising our CRM system (Dynamics 365) to log purchase volume and potential, prospects, leads, appointments and other sales activities
- Performing market monitoring and analysis of competitors and trends
Requirements:
- BS/MS in Engineering (preferred)
- 5+ years of practical experience in the cutting tools area
- Practical experience in metal machining is welcome
- Extensive knowledge of the market in their technical area
- Knowledge of CAD CAM
- High level of customer and service orientation
- Self-confidence, assertiveness, and outstanding commitment
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively
- Digital mindset
