Position Overview As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a Field-Based eBusiness Specialist to join the Hoffmann Group UK team in Birmingham, covering the Midlands and South. In this role, you will promote Hoffmann\'s digital solutions to optimise supply chain processes for our clients & support our Area Sales Managers in selling our products. You will provide expert advice on digital products such as Tool24, Holex24/7 vending machines, online shops, and more, contributing to the achievement of our business objectives. Key Responsibilities E-Business Consultation and Support: Advise clients on digital products (online shop, marketplace, EDI systems, etc.). Client Engagement: Offer ongoing support both on-site and virtually. Presentations: Demonstrate Hoffmann’s e-Business systems and their benefits to customers. Integration Projects: Develop and manage EDI projects for major customers, including training. Collaboration: Work closely with Area Sales Managers to enhance client interactions. Problem-Solving: Identify and develop solutions for client-specific needs. Promotional Activities: Plan and execute actions for promoting Hoffmann\'s e-Business systems. Event Participation: Represent Hoffmann at exhibitions and industry events. Advisory Support: Utilise technology (vending systems, weigh bins, scanning solutions) to optimise inventory management for clients. Client Analysis: Study customer consumption patterns to propose tailored solutions. System Implementation: Oversee installation and training for vending machines and related technologies. After-Sales Service: Provide ongoing support and resolve any issues post-installation. Collaboration: Coordinate with sales and technical teams to enhance service delivery. Order Management: Process orders and follow up on quotations with the Area Sales Manager. Digitalization and Knowledge Management CRM Management: Maintain and update CRM systems effectively. Market Analysis: Monitor competitors and industry trends. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on technical knowledge and contribute to process development. Training Delivery: Conduct training sessions for employees and customers. Collaboration: Work with IT and technical specialists to deliver effective solutions. Business Development Customer Needs Analysis: Identify and assess customer requirements. Competitive Strategy: Analyse competition and propose strategies for market positioning. Lead Generation: Identify prospects through industry events and networks, sharing leads with sales colleagues. Sales Targets: Achieve turnover targets for your product group. Requirements Experience: 5+ years in a relevant industry. Technical Skills: Proficient in networking, databases, SQL, eCommerce, and CMS systems. Industry Knowledge: Familiar with Inventory management systems such as vending machines & relevant market trends. Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of business processes (offer creation, invoicing). ERP Competence: Experience with ERP systems and Industry 4.0.
