Hoe Bridge School

Required for September 2027

Hoe Bridge is a thriving independent school for girls and boys aged 2 to 16. The school is thrilled to have begun a transformative three year growth and development journey, positioning itself as the leading independent through school in Woking and its surrounding areas. The school prides itself on the close-knit community, united by a shared commitment to the core values of Happiness, Confidence, and Achievement. Parents develop strong relationships with a school that prioritises the personal growth of each child, fostering a deep, enduring love of learning in an inspiring and dynamic environment.

You will teach across both the Senior Prep and Senior School. With a strong background in delivering Maths from Year 7 to GCSE, you will demonstrate the expertise to challenge and extend the most capable pupils while providing support and encouragement to those who find the subject more demanding. Your passion for problem-solving, numbers, and logical reasoning will inspire a love for Maths in all pupils.

This role is essential in helping move the Maths Department forward, working closely with both the Head of Maths (Prep) and Head of Maths (Senior) to implement our ambitious curriculums and development plans. You will work with the Maths Department to ensure that the curriculum is cohesive, progressive, and aligned across year groups. This will provide a seamless transition for pupils as they advance through their educational journey.

You will need a strategic mindset, alongside the ability to manage operational tasks and execute change effectively. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are critical for success in this role.

This is a part time role, but full time may be considered for the right candidate if they can offer a second subject.

Full details of the role are available on the school website.

Closing date for applications: 9am, Monday 12 October 2026.

Hoe Bridge School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Any person offered a position will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure.
