You are somebody who wants to be involved in all areas of school life. This is a critically important position helping to drive the Geography Department forward and working with the Assistant Head Academic (Prep) to deliver our ambitious curriculum and development plans. An ability to think strategically (as well as operationally) and implement change is vital, as are exceptional communication skills, both on paper and in oral presentation. You will be a well-qualified and energetic teacher with vision, purpose, warmth and humour, who works positively with colleagues and derives satisfaction from caring for and encouraging all children. You will be an exceptional leader who is a true ambassador for this busy department. In this role, you will be expected to inspire in colleagues high levels of commitment and engagement. As Head of Geography (Prep), you will be responsible for leading, managing and developing the Geography curriculum across the Prep School. You will teach Years 5, 6, 7 & 8 and will benefit from having a proven track record of teaching geography up to Common Entrance and Scholarship or above.
