Hodgsons are a family run business operating since 1985. Our fleet includes taxis, minibuses, service buses, school buses & executive coaches operating a huge variety of work from local bus routes, local and long distance private hires, school transport, corporate contracts, national & international tours. We have bases in Barnard Castle & Darlington.

We are looking for a bus driver to join our team operating our local bus network in Durham, Darlington & North Yorkshire from our new depot in Darlington. The position will involve working 4 days per week with shift lengths between 10 & 13 hours. No Sunday working and every third Saturday off.

Applicants must have a valid category D driving license and drivers CPC and be willing to undertake a DBS check. The basic rate in this position is £12.75 per hour with a £1.00 per hour supplement on top for accident free driving. Additionally, a £1.00 per hour supplement is paid for Saturday & Sunday working. We will provide annual CPC training, a £100 per annum mobile phone allowance & company pension scheme along with a 5% pay rise after one year's service to reward loyalty (in addition to inflationary increases).

We are looking for reliable, friendly drivers who have a positive attitude and take pride in their work. As well as full time positions, we also have part time positions available so even if you are only looking for one or two days a week we would love to hear from you.
