CONVEYANCING TRAINEE PARALEGAL/PARALEGAL/NEWLY QUALIFIED SOLICITOR or CILEX MEMBER
Job Title: Trainee Paralegal/Paralegal/Newly Qualified Solicitor/Cilex Member – Conveyancing
Experience: 1–3 Years experience of Residential Conveyancing
Based at: Skegness, Lincolnshire
Following successful completion of the probationary period, homeworking may be available for a maximum of 2 days per week. This is subject to the experience of the successful applicant.
Hours of work: Full-time position Monday to Friday (inclusive) 9.00am – 5.00pm with one hour for lunch
1. DETAILS OF THE ROLE
The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Partner and Solicitors in the team, dealing with residential and commercial conveyancing matters.
You will conduct legal research, draft documents, liaise with clients, estate agents, banks and other professionals.
Subject to experience, you will run your own caseload of residential sale and purchase cases.
2. MINIMUM REQUIREMENT TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE ROLE
In order to be considered for this role, your CV must reflect that you have a minimum of 1-years’ PQE or equivalent experience of working on conveyancing matters.
3. KEY SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE POST
This role will require candidates to:
- Have excellent communication skills, with the confidence and ability to provide clients with guidance and support
- Have strong organisational and time-management skills, with an ability to prioritize your own workload;
- Have a working knowledge of compliance issues, code of conduct and account rules;
- Have effective and decisive decision-making skills;
- Have a desire to network and promote the Company internally and externally;
- Be IT literate.
