Hodge Jones and Allen are looking for a Senior Paralegal to join the Medical Negligence team to support those working on the Lampard Inquiry (Investigating Mental Health Deaths in Essex). The successful candidate will also be required to provide support and assistance on other cases that the Clinical Negligence team are working on.
Responsibilities
- Support the Medical Negligence team on the Lampard Inquiry and other cases handled by the Clinical Negligence team.
- Work in an office-based role within a busy and friendly team, supporting a large cohort of clients.
- Use initiative and maintain a flexible attitude while working in an organized manner with attention to detail and good time management.
- Demonstrate commitment to upholding the rights of individuals, challenging authorities, and an interest in mental health and human rights. Previous experience of working on public inquiries is desirable.
Qualifications and qualities
- Excellent analytical, communication and written skills; ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities; ability to work on own initiative.
