Industrial Disease Solicitor- NQ-2 Year PQE
We are looking to recruit a Solicitor or FILEx with up to 2 years PQE to assist the Partners in our specialist Asbestos and Industrial Disease team, working on asbestos & mesothelioma cases and military disease claims.
This is a full time role where you will be required to assist in all aspects of Claimant litigation. In the longer term, it is intended that the successful candidate will be allocated a small caseload while continuing to assist the Partners.
Ideally, you will have experience in these areas, although any litigation experience will be considered. Experience of dealing with fatal cases will be an advantage.
Essential skills required include an ability to be empathetic and sensitive when dealing with clients and to be able to proactively move cases forward. The successful candidate must also be organised and methodical.
In addition to casework, you will be expected to be actively involved in business development, including dealing with the team’s social media presence and attending networking events. The successful candidate will also need to be able to travel and drive, so that they are able to visit clients at home and ideally be based in the South East area.
This is a hybrid role, where the successful candidate is expected to attend our London office. This is a rare opportunity to join a well-established and reputable team and to become a specialist in this hugely rewarding area of the law.
