Due to recent successes, we are looking to grow our department and are seeking a Public Inquiry solicitor with 2-6 years PQE, to work with our family and lived experienced Core Participants on the Lampard Public Inquiry, investigating mental health deaths in Essex. The position will be within HJA’s Medical Negligence department, which is one of the country’s leading clinical negligence departments, and this is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team of solicitors who are experts in their field.

Operating from a central London premises, HJA is a highly regarded firm and we provide our Solicitors with good prospects, training and IT facilities.
Role and expectations
The successful candidate will have a passion for access to justice and previous Public Inquiry experience. Experience of inquests, psychiatric and fatal cases, medical negligence and claims involving Human Rights Act issues is also preferable.
Responsibilities
- Work on the Lampard Public Inquiry alongside Core Participants and the family team.
- Collaborate within the Medical Negligence department on relevant cases and inquiries.
- Deliver high-quality legal services with a focus on access to justice.
