We are currently seeking a Medical Negligence Solicitor with 4 to 8 years of post-qualification experience to join our renowned Medical Negligence Department. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse and challenging caseload that includes a range of clinical negligence cases, particularly focusing on inquests, psychiatric and fatal cases, and claims involving Human Rights Act issues. You will work alongside a highly experienced team, managing your own caseload and contributing to the development of the department.

The role is suitable for solicitors with a genuine passion for access to justice and a track record of achieving positive outcomes for clients. HJA's Clinical Negligence department is one of the country's leading clinical negligence departments, and this is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team of solicitors who are experts in their field.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will have strong advocacy skills and a comprehensive understanding of Medical Negligence law and procedures.
  • High levels of empathy and client care are essential, as is the ability to handle sensitive cases with compassion.
  • Experience in complex Medical Negligence claims, excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
