Hodge Clough Primary School serves just over 440 pupils in the Moorside area of Oldham, including nursery education for pupils from 3 years of age. About You

We are seeking to appoint an experienced EYFS practitioner and inspirational leader with the passion and commitment to inspire and develop the teams across our Nursery and Reception units. We are looking for a teacher and leader who:

  • Is highly-motivated and will develop engaging, imaginative, and inclusive learning environments in which all pupils can thrive;
  • An effective leader with high expectations of themselves, their pupils and the team;
  • A highly effective teacher of Phonics; ideally having experience of the Read Write Inc Programme;
  • Will work effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive team, contributing positively to whole-school development;
  • Has the commitment and drive to improve outcomes for all pupils including those who are disadvantaged;
  • Has an up-to-date knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies, and can confidently deliver adaptive teaching for a wide range of needs;
  • Is committed to their own professional development;
  • Is eager to contribute to the wider life of the school and model the values of Hodge Clough Primary School.
