About You

We are seeking to appoint excellent classroom practitioners with interests and experiences in any of the primary phases, including EYFS. We are looking for teachers who:

  • Are highly-motivated and will develop an engaging, imaginative, and inclusive learning environment in which all pupils can thrive;
  • Will be an effective team member with high expectations of themselves and their pupils, demonstrating a strong commitment to raising achievement for all;
  • Are highly effective teachers of Phonics; ideally having experience of the Read Write Inc Programme;
  • Work effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive team, contributing positively to whole-school development;
  • Have a commitment and drive to improve outcomes for all pupils including those who are disadvantaged;
  • Have up-to-date knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies, and can confidently deliver adaptive teaching for a wide range of needs;
  • Are committed to their own professional development;
  • Are eager to contribute to the wider life of the school and model the values of Hodge Clough Primary School.
