Salary: Up to £35k basic (DOE) | £45k OTE

The Person & Skills: We are looking for engineers or technicians with a solid background in mechanical and/or electrical engineering, who are comfortable working independently in the field. We welcome applicants with experience in:

  • Agricultural Engineering
  • Armed Forces (REME or similar)
  • Automotive (Vehicle Technicians)
  • Plant / Construction Equipment
  • HGV / LGV Technicians
  • Access Hire
  • Roadside Recovery

Experience with hydraulics, battery-powered, or electric trucks/cars would be an advantage.

The Role: As a Field Service Engineer, you will:

  • Service, maintain, and repair a range of forklifts at customer sites
  • Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults
  • Deliver excellent customer service while representing the company on-site
  • Manage your own workload effectively while keeping accurate service records

You’ll be provided with specialist tools, a fully equipped service van, and full manufacturer-backed training.

The Package:

  • Salary: Up to £35k basic (DOE) | £45k OTE
  • Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (40 hrs)
  • Company Vehicle & tools provided
  • 29 Days Holiday (inc. Bank Holidays) – rising with service
