Hoddens Garage is a well-established vehicle repair business serving the local community and a range of commercial clients. With a strong, friendly team in place, we are now looking to recruit an additional team member to support our continued growth. Hoddens Garage are looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our team. If you're an experienced mechanic with a passion for delivering excellent customer experience and keeping vehicles safe on the road, please reach out.
As a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, you'll carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and complete a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work. From advanced diagnostics & repairs to routine services, you'll ensure every job is done to the highest standard.
Salary: ~£32,000 - £36,000 per annum
Bonus: up to £5,800 per annum (company performance related)
Working Hours: 5 days a week (no weekends)

Skills and Experience:
- Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent qualification or experience)
- Valid MOT Testing Licence
- Must have a full driver's licence with no more than 6 points
- Excellent time management and organisation skills requiring minimum supervision
- At least 3 years experience in the automotive industry
- Good understanding of UK vehicle legislation for M3 category vehicles
- Understanding of FMEA and hazard analysis procedures
- Has right-to-work in the UK
